Tuğba Esen
is a Berlin-based freelance editor.

She studied Advertising and Media and Communication Systems at Istanbul Bilgi University; worked as a publications coordinator and press relations manager at Pi Artworks, a London- and Istanbul-based art gallery; and served as editor of the “Art Market” supplement of Istanbul Art News and the culture and arts pages of Agos Weekly. Her first book, What Is an Actor, After All?, was published in 2017 by Aras Publishing. In addition to her freelance work as an editor and publications coordinator, she is currently working in the field of social pedagogy in Germany.
